lot of people have heard of Perry Marshall's book, The Definitive
Guide To Google Adwords. As with anything that claims to show
you how to make more money, it's natural to be skeptical. I
sure was. Honestly, I was very afraid to spend the money to
buy it and you'll see why. This is story of what reading The
Definitive Guide To Goolge Adwords did for me.
I decided
to generate my own leads, built a cheap web site, and use
Pay Per Click ads. I didn't
know what I was doing at all! Big mistake number one! I spent
$1,070 and only made $1,200. Ouch! I could make $10,000
with the same budget now. I thought, “I’m no good
at this”, gave up, and went back to buying leads to build
my business. Big mistake number two! That cost me another $2,000
to see an ROI of only $1,700.
On Perry Marshal's
web site there is a quote, "Yes, Google is treacherous
at first. It punishes uneducated marketers and rewards smart
ones". I was punished brutally for my ignorance, that’s
for sure!
Now you can see why I was afraid to buy The
Definitive Guide To Goolge Adwords, but I did. When I started
reading it, I was amazed at just how much I learned from the
quick start guide. That alone set me straight on about 80%
of what I did wrong. The book itself lays out what you need
to know in no uncertain terms. It's also easy to understand,
has plenty of pictures and great examples.
So, I took what I learned from the guide and
applied it. My primary business at that time sold for $500
and I made $400 per sale. After doing what the guide taught
me, I made another $1,200. But this time it was different.
I only spent about $100 to make $1,200. That's a little better!
If you have ever wondered if the guide is
worth the price, the answer is most definitely yes. I would

learn what it teaches, generate a ton of leads and
save a lot of money. If you're skeptical, I sure don't
blame you after everything I went through. So, do yourself
